My nerves were so pinched that I could not use my right hand for cooking, working, etc. Within a few weeks of adjustments and decompression on my neck, I was able to regain full use of my hand. Overall, my health has improved as a result of the adjustments and alleviation of nervecompression. I also began getting decompression for bulging discs in my lower back and within weeks even my bladder issues were under control. I highly recommend Dr. Presas and his technique.

Meet Dr. Oscar Presas, D.C.
Raised in South Texas, Dr. Presas earned his doctorate at Parker University in Dallas in 2005. Back in 2009 he opened North Dallas Spine Center in Plano to offer something he could not find elsewhere: non-surgical care precise enough to help the patients others had given up on.
Today patients travel from across DFW, Oklahoma and Louisiana to see him, and he still sees every new patient himself.

Frequently asked questions
What patients ask before their first visit
Are the procedures painful?
No. Many patients find decompression so comfortable that they nap during treatment.
Is there any downtime afterwards?
No. With a few small modifications, most patients resume most of their activities right away.
How is true spinal decompression different from traction?
Traction pulls in a constant, static way that makes the spinal muscles guard against it. True decompression varies its pull throughout the session, so the pressure inside the disc can drop.
Is there any popping or twisting of the spine?
None at all. The NUCCA correction is so light that some patients say it feels like having their pulse taken behind the ear.
Are all decompression machines the same?
No. Dr. Presas has worked with several and has had by far the best results with the DRX9000 system.
What should I avoid after a treatment?
For the first 24 hours, avoid high-impact activity and heavy lifting, and try not to sit for longer than 45 to 60 minutes at a time.
